Hey guys

A friend asked me to build a pc for him, but it has to be really cheap (around €500).

So here is what I came up with:

Case: Sharkoon Vaya €25

PSU: Sharkoon SHA450-12EUP 450W ATX €35

MB/APU/MEM: MSI A75MA-G55 / A8-3850 / 4GB €220

HDD: 500gb Spinpoint F3 €40

Opt: LiteOn IHAS122 €18

GPU: SAPPHIRE HD6570 €64

OS: Windows 7 HP: €100

total: €502

Can you make something better for this price (with legal W7) coming from belgian stores ?

all tips are welcome

I just recently build a computer for my mothers office. I had a $270 budget. Weird number, i don't know how that will translate to british pounds BUT, I got it done

Now the choice of motherboard and cpu was interesting. I found the cheapest AMD motherboard that featured core unlocking. I knew the Phenom II 555 was famous for unlocking to a quad core. So I took a gamble. It was a success, the other 2 cores unlocked and tested 100% stable 2 hour prime run. So you get a black edition quad core for cheap! Now you chuck a decent graphics card, and another stick of ram into the mix you have a VERY capable little system. Now bare in mind, this was just an office build, I could got away with an Athlon X2 or something, but what fun is that?
