too many shrooms
right this is my build as she stands now she is not finish yet, but i wont be performing the heart transplant and blood transfusion (new motherboard, cpu & water cooling) until next year. i will post updates

the specs are:

CASE: Fractal Design Arc Midi 2
MB: MSI 990XA GD55
CPU: AMD FX 6100 overclocked to 3.9ghz
COOLING: Corsair H100i
RAM: 8Gb Corsair 1866Mhz Low Profile Vengeance
GPU: vtx3d hd7870 black 1050mhz core overclock
STORAGE: x2 1TB Caviar Green (in a raid) x1 60Gb OCZ Agility 3 boot drive
PSU: Corsair AX850w (with blue braided cables)

Thanks guys as i say she aint finished yet.sorry about the wonkyness of the pics i will fix them when i get back to my desk (unless an admin beats me to it)
 
Assuming the fans on the rad are pulling out the top - you may be better with the rear fan intaking air.

That's the only suggestion I can come up with really - other than that, it looks great :)

Yeah they are fella i was thinking of flipping the rear fan round, i was going to wait until i had a dust filter first tho. Thanks for the imput though i may need more when it comes to the custom loop next year haha

yeah bulldozer wasnt my choice it was my dads he got it for me, i am going to wait untill steamroller next year till i upgrade my cpu an motherboard tho.am pretty sure you ment the cpu not the gpu anyway haha
 
Steamroller should be a pretty stout iteration of the Bulldozer architecture from what I understand. A fine choice, definitely looking forward to seeing what you do with all the parts and tuning!

thanks bud i am very much looking forward to steamroller, and a motherboard that can overclock (as mine doesn't have the juice).i will be looking for thoughts on a custom loop, mainly about fittings as i know what res and pump i will be using :)
 
ok yeah this is still an on going thing, an yeah its slow but am really not made of money. hopefully will have all my water cooling bits just after christmas, but i got some more ram and a samsung evo 120gb ssd for a couple of games

edit: though i am having trouble getting my ram to its rated spd 1600mgz :(
