But another EPUK 1st - we cracked 2.00 points in the CPC Benchies.

I am hoping to go even further but as this is a first - thought I'd post it here.

I'd quite like a fx60 but can't bear to part with my 0516wpmw 57 and don't like the look of coldbug. I'd also quite like some modern graphics cards - stupid x1800s aren't worth ****. :@ Haven't even beaten my 256mb 7800s' 05 score yet.
 
well done mav, if all of the EP-UK members done this then we would be all in the top 20, keep up the good work mate.

You know it's always a gamble when u change ur cards, the X1900/7900 competition is much closer and the choice is wide open coz of that, no-one knew that X1900 would be out as soon as it was after you had ordered ur kit.

X1900's pwn 05, the 7900's have more success in 06 and 03 but becuase its sooooo close now - once availability is widespread the prices should tumble reasonably quickly as they both try to buy market share.

The cold bug is an issue, but the DFI board is flexible enough to allow a way round it, I am running 210*16.

It's not the best FX60 around, but it packs a punch that keeps me in the hunt globally and could be a seller in teh next 7-10 days ;)
 
Very nice Mav once I get my raptors I will beat the 1.50 single core score :) I know I can do it

Yeah I am seriously considering getting me a 150GB Raptor (non windowed) to see how that performs (maybe even two!!) - should yield in some good results and better loading times all round.

6 consecutive months at no1 in this benchy so far ;)

I TOLD you you`d break 2.00!!!

Fatty will have some competition for no.1 single-core, but TBH, I cant compete with a cascade...or can I ;)
