This was real, very old now tho.

Wow, this really takes the cake on massive hardware installation mistakes. I sometimes wonder whether they should have a basic competence exam before letting you buy hardware like this. It wouldn't be legal, but would at least avoid some of the horrid mistakes like this. What a way to waste a perfectly good video card. He might as well have just thrown it in the trash.

The original happend on tech-forums.com. I was a member of those forums when it happend and we all took our fair share of laughing at him. Also, the guy who tried forcing an FX-53 in a Socket 754 was on those forums too.

Tech-forums.com. That was one of the first tech forums I ever joined, back in 2004. I haven't been back in years and it seems as though a massive amount of unread messages have cropped up. Got one that was especially amusing recently where some random user wanted to know whether I thought there book was good or not. If you want you can take a look at it here. Can't remember what I thought about it.

Actualy my bad it was Tech-Forums.net. If you search my name youll see one was banned and the other is recent lol. What was your SN then? Im sure if you where on during the 04-05 time youd remember my Nubius bashing and that other guy Bdubaya or however you spelt his name.

My SN was ZhengHe on that site as well. It was a username I picked up, then dropped, then picked up again. As for the Nubius bashing that may have been slightly after I left. You'd have to link me up to a few of that articles for me to get any idea whether or not I was active during that time.

As for the forum itself I'm happy that I left it. Some of the biggest asses and densest members I've ever come across were found on that forum. Not exactly a haven of excellence, even in it's heyday. Then again I wasn't exactly an intellectual giant back then either. You might get a kick out of searching some of threads I wrote back then. They're very dated.

Most of the bashing was between 04-05. Im glad i left those forums too. I actualy left them and came here and was like *Light from heaven and choir* wow. Anybody reading this, never join Tech-Forums.net Also, they redid the forum so i doubt any of the old posts are still there. I went looking for my 6800GT OCing and Flashing thread but couldnt find it.

Buahaha omg i cant believe you found it!! There i am though, banned. I was such a douchbag back then.

HAHAHAHA...This is so funny, reminds me of the guy who hammered his FX-55 into a Socket A mobo and broke off all the pins. Anyways, this thread has gone on long enough, i am going to close it.
