Hey all, had to run this build by you guys before i spend almost 2000 USD on a new computer. Its going to be used mainly for gaming and audio production but mostly just as a really really fast computer. Please review the selection of parts and feel free to offer up other ideas! Thank you!

(1. Is there enough power from the supply for the crossfire gpu as well as the other components?)

(2. Is my choice of ram good?i know mushkin is great.)

You're going to want dual channel kits instead of that triple channel.

Which sticks do you recommend?

The only difference in dual channel and triple channel, is just that dual channel comes in pairs, while triple come in sets of 3's. Notice the motherboard has 4 slots...two different colors. That means that 2 sticks in the matching color will work together and run in Dual channel. So for the best results, fill up the slots, or go for 4gb of memory (filling 2 slots). You can bump it up to 8 gb, 2x4gb or 4x2gb running in dual channel. But 6gigs will be a triple channel kit.

To simplify either, fill 2 slots only, or fill all 4 with matching sticks. Not 3.

Look into a decent cpu cooler too, because that 2600k is begging for some OC action. Other than that everything looks good, some people will question the choice of cooler master power supply over maybe a corsair. But nice build!

Noctua NH-D14 120mm & 140mm SSO CPU Cooler( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...m_re=noctua_cpu_cooler-_-35-608-018-_-Product)

just because everyone loves them so much here it seems. It looks beastly... i hope i wont have any problems putting it in the HAF.

It will fit in there just fine.

Everybody loves it just because it is THE cooler to get at the moment

Make sure to post back with some pics of the rig and some overclocking results on that 2600K.

instead of the ocz vertex 2, have a look at the corsair force range or the kingston v+, they are meant to perform better or there is always the crucial c300 which runs at 6gb/s
