Do you think there is going to be enough stock?

Everyone is opting for the i5 2500k, they are going to go like hot muffins.

has this ever happened? A processor went out of stock? I am mainly worried because my build will not be done by the end of February, would it be worth buying the processor early?

I don't think this will happen. The motherboards cost a lot of money. A lot of people are waiting for Ivy Bridge to come out before upgrading as there's not much point upgrading from current i5 to sb i5

and remember that bulldozer is also coming out soon, some people are probably waiting to compare the two....

very true, AMD have been very quiet about the Bulldozer, hopefully that's a good thing.

I would love to see how Bulldozer will be like, will it beat i7s and maybe beat or = sb?

I hear thats its the Same as SB 32NM 8MB L3

If you're always waiting for the next big thing to come out, you're always going to be waiting

By the time I get a bulldozer or completely overhaul to an Intel SB system they will both be replaced with something new lol

The systems people will be able to build for £500/£600 i.e. board/RAM and CPU is going to be incredible
