Enough Cooling?

Hi guys,

I will be building my first waterloop in an H440 Case
I have an i7 4790k (Non overclocked)
2x GTX 980 Strix (Non overclocked)

I will be using a 240 x 30mm rad in pull (Top)
360 x 60mm rad in pull (front)
Both rads will have Noctua Industrial 2000PWM fans running at about 800-1000rpm

First question is:

Will this be enough cooling?

Second question

Is pull fans going to be enough on the 60mm rad?

I have looked at the 80mm monsta rad for the front but I'd be struggling for space for the reservoir, I could also do push pull on the front 60mm rad but this will also make me struggle for reservoir space

Thanks in advance for any response

not a WC genius but, as for as i know they count atleast 120mm rad space per object. So you've got more than plenty! Though i would go for push fans in front instead of pull. Push pull itself wont make that much diffrence besides looks afaik

Thanks for quick reply, could quite happily do push, was just thinking of the cleaning, although I suppose it would be ok to just give the rads a quick dusting every 6 months with the coolant change

With those rads you will be fine, i would go push on all of them and have the rear exhaust as an intake with a dust filter to keep a positive air pressure, which will help in keeping the rads clean.

Thanks, tbh I'd never thought of trying the rear fan in pull to get air into the case, I've alway thought of the blowing air through from the front out the top and the back

The difference in thickness will not matter much at all, you won't have a huge increase in heat dissipation when you go for a monsta instead of a 60mm rad.

Push vs pull though, no doubt push is better than having a pull setup. 240+360 will be enough too :)

Thanks guys for all the help, just got the final few parts to settle on then I can get it all ordered then I'll just need a few days off to get this all installed and leak tested
