EK's Quantum RTX 3090 FE Vector Active Backplate is a Cooling Monster

IF I could GET A HOLD of a 3090 FE; I'd go the EK route for the hell of it. Unlkely I will; so I probably won't. This backplate is the only reason I'd seriously consider the 3090. I'm not considering ANY card at the moment; not until sanity returns to the market. Even then I'm much more likely to go top-end AMD on principal.

Its a 250euro gimmick though. You still need the FE main waterblock to go with it if i understand correctly. Either way, its not worth it.

im sorry i cant remember where it may even have been ttl but i have seen it said how well these worked and its a lot of ram on these now

could of even been an official ek email i received about them actually giving cooling figures if i had the gpu i would like the ek kit just need a forklift

I wouldnt trust figures from EK. They claimed a 2C drop on the supremacy blocks when they first came out, but that is in biased ideal scenarios. When Debauer reviewed them (I believe Martinslabs did too) The temps were either the same, or higher than the EK original CSQs.
