EK's new EK-AIO series is the company's first true plug-and-play liquid cooler

I already have a H100iv2 but if the performance gains are significant I will definitely switch, but I'll wait for the reviews to come in first. What's also seals the deal for me is the 5 year warranty being offered, because I don't think any other OEM offers anything like it. I've never had to deal with warranty/RMA issues with EK so I'm hoping it's simple, straight forward, and fast.

I Do like the look of that, wonder how it compares to what's out already

It is pretty but I bet very expensive. Pump looks nice and meaty also.

Only the same price range as what's available from other companies

What they fail to mention is another RGB launcher is required otherwise you get vomit.

Considering it uses Asus,Gigabyte, Msi or Asrock software chances are people will already have 1 of them

EK are literally supporting any ARGB motherboard or RGB controller. So long as it supports 5V digital RGB lights, EK's pump and fans can be controlled by it.

EK doesn't have its own RGB software. They will rely on the support your motherboard's RGB support or chosen fan controller.

Didn't read that in the article but still doesn't change the fact most people will still probably have 2 RGB software running. None of which are any good and are truly awfully made.

...maybe your experience with them is just bad? idk man, but my pc running Asus AURA to support my 6 RGB fans and the AIO pump and mobo lighting (that's built in to the asus board obviously) all works flawlessly.

I plugged the fans into a fan controller, plugged that into the motherboard, and done. The software took all of it right away and changing colors or patterns or anything is a simple click, hit apply, close software.

I know some of the programs can be really annoying and weird, and getting the Asus aura program installed "was" a challenge as I'd never messed with any of this before myself but after a quick 20 minutes of seeing where I messed up it was easy and it is still easy as I just changed everything to pulsing green in a minute while typing this.

Again, maybe I'm lucky but the software doesn't seem to be that hard ^_^

Would you believe that I have none running other than the GPU software in which I've switched of off?

Nice new cooler but rgb, sick of it.

Minus the RGB puke it looks decent although there's only so far AIO's can get in terms of performance due to companies not really taking it further, Same tiny pumps in all of them, Same thin rads, What we need is the option of buying a 360mm 40mm+ thick rad instead of these really thin 28mm ones which seems to have been made the standard thickness for all AIO's.
