Will this block break my board? ive heard that the mounting brackets can snap boards.

And i dont think i can use a back plate because my motherboard has a copper thing on the back of the board behind the CPU.

I wouldn't clamp it right down without a backplate as the springs apply an insane amount of tension. You got a Gigabyte mobo?

Can you not clamp it through the copper?

I do have a gigabyte yeh, can my copper back plate be removed? I have never really looked at it tbh. I was tempted to go for the D-Tek fuzion instead though this would probably have the same problem without a back plate? Hmm ill look into taking the copper back plate off. Though the back plate might give the board abit more sturdy'ness to withstand more tension.

Rofl.. This is true.. How much do you generally have to tighten the screws? ive only ever used push pins before.

we have back plates for them if needed - just beed to get them on the site lol
