EK announces their DuraClear transparent tubing

Nice to see that flexible tubing is staying around. For a while I thought that hard line looked soo much better (and does when it's done properly) but at the same time I kinda missed the lovely curves of soft hose. Flexible tubing makes it easier, but it doesn't look as good unless you do it properly :)

Always nice to see new tubing products, would love to see some results of long-term exposure to the various coolants available though.

Perhaps some month-or-three long tests with active moving coolant to see how it reacts.

i.e. water (to test this theory of smooth wall)
water + biocide (obv)
glycol
pastel in all it's colours (because lets face it, it eats just about everything)
aurora (not that this is a permanent solution anyway)

Then all of those + coloured variations to see how resistant it is to staining etc
And again + dyes

Also how it reacts to heat + the above, so make sure loop is kept at various temperatures to see how it reacts + breaks down etc with various coolants.

Be good to know if it's food-grade or not as well.

Not an exhaustive list of tests, but I'd like to see a few before I trust a new loop to it ;) Due diligence and all that.
