Easily Move Files from Sub-Folders to One Main Folder?

The title says it pretty much....

Is there any way to take all of the files out of a bunch of sub-folders and put them into one main folder? My specific situation is I need to take all of my songs out of my iTunes directory and put them in one folder.

Is there an easy way to do it in windows 7? Is there some software that will do it for me?

Aren't itunes music stored into the libraries->music->itunes folder?
It would be in one main folder there.
I had mine sort by artist and album, so there are sub folders for every artist, and ever artist has sub folders for albums.

Plus these files have been through a few PC swaps, so iTunes has screwed the file structure completely. I'm doing this so I can just start a fresh iTunes.

Easiest way would be to delete it all and overnight have it redownload all the music you want so it can sort it out. Least amount of work this way imo.

I wish, but some of these are CD rips, and some are from Amazon.

After some googling, I think I found a solution. I hope it works, because if it doesn't, this is gonna suck to do manually.

In iTunes you can 'consolidate files'.

Go to preferences in iTunes and set that to a single folder. Then untick 'Keep iTunes media folder organised'. Then press 'ok'.

Then: File > Library > Organise Library > Consolidate Files

I'm not entirely sure exactly what you're wanting to achieve through this though. Also, you know iTunes keeps the 'iTunes' folder in 'My Music'? When you have a fresh installed copy of Windows, back up that folder, and back up the folder where all your music is stored. Then after reinstalling iTunes on the new machine, open it once, then close it. Go into My Music and delete the iTunes folder, and copy your old back up across.
Then set the Music location back in advanced preferences and it will sort itself out from there.

Open Windows Explorer, go to the main folder and in the top right corner search for
That will display all the files you have in there without displaying the folders. So then just select all, copy and paste.
