EA reveals Battlefield V Battle Royale + New Game Trailer

I just hope it's different and not copy paste. Battlefield can certainly bring in a fresh take on it. They will also have other modes so you aren't forced to play one game mode 24/7

I agree, I'm not a fan personally of BR games but happy to see how this turns out so long as it doesn't take anything away from what I consider quintessential Battlefield!

Not sure how Battlefield is supposed to bring a fresh take on BR. I personally don't like Battlefield very much, but gameplay wise, I think CoD is better suited for a FRESH take.

If you think COD has a better idea for a BR game then you should take a closer look at how closely it resembles battlefield..
That's my point. The only fresh thing BF brings to BR is destructible environments. I guess there won't be tanks around in a BR mode.
While we don't konw much about CoD's BR, it's pretty much confirmed, that there will be some Killstreaks as well as a way smaller map for way more players -> more action packed BR. If BF does a good job at their BR mode, then I even might consider buying it.

Not sure any game is worth buying if you base it on one pvp mode. I don't see any issues with adding tanks.

It means that the tank spawn will be a hot spot for action, and the one who gets it, will be the number 1 target on the map. Can't see that much domination over using it. How many times I had planted explosives on users in Tanks in BF made it seem almost futile to use it anyway. But it was always there for the co-op tactic.

They could even add it and have a limited time of use e.g. "low on fuel" once you are stationary you are a sitting duck for everyone.

As for COD. It always seemed like the FPS for the under 15s if that makes sense ( I know both a games swarming with kids and teens). It's just I could never grasp any form of realism with it. I talk about those produced in the last 5 years. And each product was just recycling the same thing.
