Know several people who already stopped playing it cause they didn't like it and saying it's already dead... I haven't played it myself though, so can't comment on it.

It gets stale very quickly. Game could have been amazing, but they ruined it with MP only and absurdly priced DLC and charging for basically everything

Please note that "one Star Wars game" a year is not "One Battlefront" game per year.

I don't understand how DICE has managed to grow a fanbase, they are literally releasing games twice as quickly as the cod developers. But i guess as long as they either have Star Wars on the cover or fancy cinematic trailers people will continue paying $130 every year for the same subpar product. The whole RIP CoD thing is so hypocritical it hurts my soul.

I'm so glad I never bought the battlefront game. Having played both the Betas I knew I would get bored quick. They had the look and feel pretty spot on I have to say but the gameplay was really dull and even little things like vaulting over scenery animations weren't there. It felt really rushed and then on top of it the classic EA DLC machine came to ruin it even more

The original Battlefront 2 was immense, If they stuck to that type of formula but updated the graphics, Sound etc... it would have been immense but this new model of selling a multyiplayer game with add-ons later is beyond greedy and lazy.
I wouldn't even mind a Battlefront 2 remaster in a modern engine. *as long as they don't try and sell DLC map packs

This model isn't that bad, provided they also give out free content and are frequently improving gameplay and etc. But the way most companies do it now a days, is greedy and I agree 100% with you.
If they followed things like Rainbow Six Siege, pay up front, all future content free, only paid items don't effect actual gameplay. This is the way to do it. What this SWBF and Evolve have done, is definitely not the way to do it.

Yep and the fact that there is no single player is quite a let down IMO, BF2 has galactic conquest, A main mildly story driven campaign and they are fun as hell, This new BF is just a constant death match which is such a shame as the game is bleed'n gorgeous and sounds immense but is then let down by the fact that you can't really appreciate all the artwork and atmosphere because you are too busy avoiding getting shot and tea bagged by numbnuts2378 ^_^

R6S is not pay up front and get everything, you have to pay for the pass to get the content? And you get the operators early, and they're almost ALL OP compared to the base set of operators.. so it does affect gameplay.
I didn't buy battlefront, but with them bringing it to Origin Access I'll probably play it on that, it's just too beautiful to miss tbh.
It's a bit crap that they have specifically not put TitanFall on Origin Access to at least demo it, Battlefield 1 is totally eating into their TF2 sales.

No you don't. It's free content. You just purchase them through in game credits. The new operators are not OP. Do you play the game? I play it everyday. It's pretty balanced. The way the season pass works is pretty good. You get almost everything free, you get stuff early too. That is how they incentivize you to buy it. Otherwise if it was just a season pass.. what would it offer if not for those things I mentioned? It would be worthless

No. Everything can be bought for in game credits. Season pass just gives it to you immediately and gets you 3 day early access(or 5 days idk I don't have it, don't need it) to new operators.
Yes new stuff is out. We have the 3 first sets of content released and the fourth should be coming soon. They aren't really expansions. Just adds characters and maps and unique guns. Everyone gets it, but to use them you need to purchase them using in game credits.
