Dying TV? Faulty new PSU?

Hey there folks.
(Didn't know if this was a PSU or Monitor thread, feel free to move if needed)
I recently just got myself a new PSU (Corsair AX860) up from a TX650M and after I powered everything up with the new PSU, I noticed when I went into intensive 3D applications (games, benchmarks, etc) one of my two monitors has some wavy lines going on that you can only notice in dark areas.

I'll try explain my setup, and how it occurs as best as possible but it'll be a lengthy read I suspect, here we go..

My display setup consists of a Samsung 32" HD TV (1920x1080) that I use as my primary screen (gaming, films etc) and I have a secondary monitor that's a 21" 1680x1050 Dell.

When I launch a game, and the GPU is under load, I get some serious wavy lines occurring ONLY on my 32" Samsung TV that are especially noticeable in dark areas. The wavy lines are horizontal.

Things I've tried to fix this problem:

- Playing a game on the secondary monitor. Still produces wavy lines on the main monitor, even thought the main monitor is sat at desktop. The secondary monitor still has no wavy lines.
- Vsync on / off
- Different drivers w/ driver sweep
- 3 Different GPUs (2 different 7970 lightnings' + a 7870)
- Unplugging secondary monitor and just playing on primary
- Unplugged the main monitor and tested secondary (was okay, no wavys on the secondary)
- Adjusting refresh rates (this affects the lines, but doesn't make them worse nor better)

Things I've yet to try / can think of to try:

- Different cable
- Try out old PSU again

I've had this same issue in the passed but it the wavy lines occurred on both monitors, the exact same monitors I'm using now in fact. But that was with different cables, gpu and psu.

Could it be my new power supply that's on the blink? Everything seems to be in order.. Not had any freezes, glitches or anything since installing it, but there's no denying that this problem occurred the moment I put the new PSU in..

Could the TV finally be on the blink? In all fairness it's quite a few years old and the "TV" side of it is on it's way out.

I've got a few things to try out myself but thought I'd seek some advice here and see if anyone has had the problem, and or fixed it.

Thanks in advance.

VGA - I'll try swapping out a new cable as soon as I find a spare one, in the process of clearing out some old bits n bobs.

I've tried HDMI with the TV but it doesn't like using HDMI for PC, the colors and scales are way off, spent over a week trying to use the HDMI but it refused to comply.
