DVI to component

I've been toying with the idea of getting a 360 but I don't have a TV, just LCD monitor... so I'd like to know if something like this would let me use the component output -> DVI monitor?

Yep that would do the job. either that or get the Xbox 360 VGA cable and input that either via a VGA > DVI adaptor or using VGA in on your monitor if you have it

Well I could go VGA but I was thinking the component would look better, being digital? Also how does it work with the HD-DVDs, can you watch those over VGA?

im more concerned about the Y'PbPr signal requiring an analouge DVi socket on monitor that supports it
