Dust!?!?!!?!?!?

Air ionisers are dangerous to your health, I wouldn't suggest using them at all.

They also don't remove as much dust as a proper filter would.

ok, how dangerous?

Try using a hoover ;)

My room aint dusty, yet when I clean my dust filter on my pc. There is a fair amount on there. I do it once a month. Better that than cleaning the whole pc imho.

Its hoovered at least once a week

Carpet will surely stop dust flying around as much as it will trap it until its hoovered?

Problem with human made Ozone is the fact it stops rising below the original layer, causing major health problems on the long term :p

So basically, from the article, air purifiers which work ionically barely generate any ozone. If you believed every last scaremongering tactic, you would have to stop drinking cans or bottles containing benzoic acid (sodium benzoate) due to "high levels" of benzene, which add up to less than a second of filling up a car with petrol.

If you wanted to go down the ionic route, I wouldn't let the ozone problem put you off.

Well, I don't know all I can say is that I would rather not take a chance, I would recommend that no one does as well. Having it on 24/7 all the time can't be good if it does the slightest bad thing to your lungs.

Just my view anyway, before someone buys I will let them know.

I have the same problem, which is annoying as my room is brown/cream with a silver/black pc desk and screen. Other than constantly dusting and keeping my door closed 24/7 there doesn't seem a lot to be done :\

other than cleaning regularly there isn't a whole lot to be done about dust it seems.

Your pc is the best hoover youll ever have lol!

Secret is possitive air preasure in the case, more air in than out ;)
