dual gfx cards

i want to try out dual gfx cards but want to make sure i dont buy the wrong stuff, as i understand it u have sli and crossfire, i pressume thier for the 2 different gfx chipset manufactures, now i have an novatech 8800gts 320mb card and was thinking of gettn another one but my mobo P5WDH DELUXE 975

only says crossfire supported does this mean i cant have 2 8800gts's?

That is correct u cant have 2 Nvidia graphics card in a Crossfire motherbaord.

U need a SLI motherboard.
