I don't know what to say dude, Dicehunters DDU guide was very extensive and very detailed, I've absolutely no idea what has happened to it. Have you looked on the DDU website they have instructions as to how you remove drivers in safe mode.

no I will go look there thank you and yes dicehunters guide was great but I cannot find it at all anywhere I should have printed it off when I first read it

This is all I do in 10 easy steps

1) Download driver sweeper (NOT FROM STEAM)
2) Download the latest GPU driver from either AMD or Nvidia.
3) Remove network cable/disconnect from wireless (this will ensure Windows does not install the Windows driver)
4) uninstall ALL driver "stuff" this would include the actual driver including PhysX/Sound/and anything else related to your driver.
5) If using Windows 7 jump into safe mode (not really needed in Windows 8)
6) Run driver sweeper in safe mode (or regular if using Windows 8)
7) Jump back into regular Windows if you were using Windows 7
8) Install your driver
9) Restart
10) Connect back to your network

Removed due to updating it, It looked extremely messy and half arsed so I'm going to take my time with it and make it look all pretty but I've been VERY busy over the past 2 months so it's taking some time
