Dr Dre Solo HD - Worth it?

dr.dre has some nice stuff but there is better out there for less. what type of music do you listen to for one? dr.dre headphones have a lot of muddy bass good mids and highs but still a lot of un-needed muddy bass. Klipsch Image earbuds/on ear headphones will blow away anything dr.dre has. I myself have a pair of klipsch image one on ear headphones and the beats studio headphones and i like my klipsch ones better and they were more than half the price. the klipsch image one's have a really nice punchy bass that is clear and constant with 0 distortion, great highs, and awesome mids. Beats by dre are a waist of money IMO, there are WAY better out there for cheaper.
What i do and i recommend for you is: get the klipsch image one and get a cMoyBB headphone amp custom designed for the Klipsch image ones. the sound quality is superb! anything under a 256kb bit rate will sound like garbage, in fact some 256kb bit rate starts to sound like garbage because you can here EVERYTHING! and when i mean EVERYTHING is you can here the pick plucking the guitar, peoples lips vibrating on trumpets, i will even go as far to say as hearing the vocal cords vibrating. and there is enough bass to satisfy ANYONE.
but if you are into rap go ahead and get the dr.dre because that is what they were centered around, but if you do i highly recommend getting a headphone amp to clear some of the muddyness that all the dre headphones suffer from. you yourself may not notice the muddy bass, but because i am an audiophile this stuff really bugs me.
also playing BFBC2 on wartapes with the klipsch image ones is orgasmic!
