does anyone know much about linux

can i reinstall grub or lilo to my mbr from windows, i reinstalled windows and it overwrote my grub bootloader in the mbr...

i could just boot from the linux cd and reinstall from there but my laptop does not have a bootable cd drive...

ive got a ext2 file system reader in windows so i can see my boot,root and swap linux drives in windows...

i need to be able to run a dd command in linux and make a boot image for windows to read in the boot.ini file but i cant do that if i cant boot into linux ARGHHHHHHHHHHHh
