Do these temps sound right?

Hi Guys,

Got my Mach 2 GT from Phil on tuesday, works like a dream , i'm one happy camper.........

Just want to question my system temps......

A64 3400 CH @ 2797 - 9 x 310.9@ 1.8V (Actually 1.749 - 1.781 Idle & 1.808 - 1.856 Load, the voltages on this board suck)

Idle = -28 Degrees GT Display-62

Load = 0 - 1 Degrees GT Display = -52

Is that about right, or should I remount the thing?

I don't know if its swapping from Mach 1 to GT but I can overclock the system another 30Mhz so far, still playing..... Or it might be because the chip is wearing in, after the amount of stress testing (Burning that mudda up!)i've been giving it.

They look fine mate.

i aint got the same cpu or board to compare by the way and that plays a big role.

the evaporator temps look ok..and especially their difference from idle to load...that means the unit is stressed

for example with my northwood overclocked etc i had -40C idle and -20C if i am not mistaken load....check my sticky with my temps on the top of the page.

with the prescott and a different board (ic7max3 from p4c800e i get -18C idle now...and load about 0C so you should be allright...

i would say dont bother remounting it yet....wait till next time and then compare...there are numerous posts in this forum on how to improve the evaps contact with the chip that you can try

Yep going by the Evap temps that looks right.
