Just reading it again, I don't really think its a huge issue for them.

Ya even ur regular HDDs have write things. Same as all electrical components have a life cycle, which averages to about 5 years of use.

Yeah I see that now :) I thought that the ssd's did have an abnormally short lifespan, something like a year or two before I read anything much on them.
 
A good SSD will last as long as the DRAM on your ram.

I dont know about the rest of you, but I still have working PCs with EDO SIMMS in.

hehe ya. Installed approx £500 of EDO in some machines @ work the other week.

(not my decision)
