I think Brooksie summed it up pretty well to start with to be honest:
After that I don't know what all the fuss is about! I'm sure I'll buy it cause I'm a big driving game fan, I enjoyed the first one and this one looks even better. The fact that Operation Flashpoint looked just as good in DX9 is kind of irrelevant really.
