Dilemma

Guys I was planning on getting a new display, most definately it was going to be the Dell 2408 wfp. Main use was to link up pc and ps3. BUT I saw a lg 32lg7000 tv with pc input, which has created the confusio of either getting the dell or the lg. Please advise.

Over the next month or two I will be building a new machine core i7 stuff and hope to use it for video editing and games. I have three options.

1. Dell 2408 wfp

2. LG 32lg7000

3. Any other 24" display

What would you get????

Whats your budget?

The budget is best and larger screen at the lowest price. This would mean I can later spend that little extra on the build.

At a push a figure max £400.

I'd probably go for the dell tbh, due to it being better for sitting up close and working with as well as sitting back and watching things on. Its got a slightly higher res than a 'full HD' TV.

I see where ur coming from. Its deciding do i... go for a bigger screen (lg) or better spec (dell). Keeping in mind I'll be able to get the LG cheaper than the Dell.

Yes most of the time i'll be sitting about a metre away from the screen.

I'd get the Dell mate, the clarity will be far superior from 1 metre away.
