Difference in GPU blocks ?

I'm starting to look for a pair of blocks for my pair of R9 290's, I've got it narrowed down to either the EK-FC R9-290X Full Cover Water Block - Acetal+Nickel, with the matching back plate, and the appropriate bridge. With this option it will look right at home in my black and white build, with the odd touch of silver.

Then there is the qua Computer Kryographics for R9 290/290X, Nickel Plated - Black Edition, with the active back plate, and appropriate bridge. With this option it adds a bit more silver into the mix.

I'm focusing more on looks, as blocks don't have a hole lot of difference in performance, unless there is something I'm missing out of these 2. What do you think guys. So far there is only a touch of silver, that's a 3rd cable sleave colour, the res bracket, and ant cyclone, and the rad fittings.

the differences might be irrelevant, your temps will be in the 50±5 degrees no matter wich block

Yea, I understand mate, there is a 2nd rad to go in yet I've got a 240 Monsta to go up front, I'm just waiting for the paint to dry.

The Aqua Computer Backplate would offer a good performance boost, not sure if you could mix it with EK block. Silver would go well with the gpu cable sleeving.

I'd go with the EK blocks just for pure aesthetics.

Its far too much silver that puts me off Aqua Computer stuff usually.

Nice looking rig you have there by the way.

Ek block are awesome looking if they are the proper fc blocks which cover the entire pcb but I hate the blocks that only cover 1/2-3/4 of the pcb.
