Obviously one is quieter but which one is worth getting I am looking for a balance between quietness and performance so which one would I be better getting?

I'd go with the quiet tbh.

If used as a case fan, I doubt you'll notice any difference in temps at all, but it should save a fair bit on your ears

I have 1 AF 120 performance as a rear fan and it is quite loud ,It's not too bad but I'd go with the quiet edition.

Not yet Josh , I got some with the Corsair fans but haven't used any yet.
I got my system up and running but I still have to tidey up the cables and sort out the Corsair Link . I guess like most everyone here , I don't think I will ever be completeley done . I need to get pics on the rig gallery too.

Hm, I don't know whether to get the 140 or the 120 because my computer seems to support a 140 because there is other screws after the 120 screws also the 140's are £5 cheaper at £4
So should i risk getting them and it not fitting? Measured it, they fit, should i get one?

If you was to get a AF120, get the performance one and use the 7v adapter to turn it into a quiet edition. If a 140 fits get a 140.

120 quiet -39.88 CFM. 21dB.
140 - 67.8 CFM. 24dB.

Noise to airflow ratio kills the 120.

Well, i am now getting the bitfenix Spectre Pro as the AF 140 on amazon only came in 2 packs or one that's shipping was more than its actual price

Nice choice, both spectre pro 120 and 140 are better than the corsair air series, I'd use these but I am so hooked on those colored rings haha. Let us know your thoughts when it is in the case :)
