This might well be a slow trickle of details but heres what I have so far:

*RAM clips interfere with GPU.

*board is narrower than a normal ATX board- same width as a 7900GS

*NB runs hotter than the Giga boards, thats for sure! Flip-side of this is that it "feels like" it will scale with lower temps

*Doesnt clock RAM as well as the Giga P35 series BUT numbers are just numbers- the performance is at WORST on a par. Still checking settings

*RAM straps are a bit odd.... settings like 200/266 266/667 and 333/800 arent easy to interpret

*first boot: 400FSB. 3rd boot: 500FSB. (dual-core) thats the max of my chip

*has a good selection of RAM timings to play with...a lot that dont show up in Memset, so I have no clue what they do....yet

*4-phase, with what looks like 3 FETs per phase

*floppy connector at bottom of board

*NB has a warranty void if removed sticker crossing between the heatsink and the PCB

*VDIMM tracking is good- BIOS matches DMM readings, within 0.03V (thats not droop, thats delta- big difference)

*not checked other voltages yet. still prodding. 7900 makes FET checking hard. Might swap out for PCI 5200 tomorrow to get the rest of the readpoints

*6 USB ports on the back

only immediate difference is Blood-Iron logo instead of Infinity.

I think nearly all boards have the ram clip/gpu problem these days and we all know what "may void warranty" stickers are for, don't we  .Looks promising for a mid range board though.

Most of the folk i've talked to on MSN over the last couple days will know i've not been bowled over by the performance of this board so far, esp in the RAM area, but its went a long way to redeeming itself via 3DMark ;)
