Well they didn't use 16 threads like they said they would. Though hitting 8 threads and still seeing performance increases is still impressive. I'm not even sure it would be worth them using more threads at this point. For Ryzen 7 in particular, with all those extra threads getting little usage, if you were to stream you would have A LOT of extra headroom for the stream and should be able to do it without much problem.

Support for SMT is pretty broken in Destiny 2 ATM, though it could be fixed before launch. We will have to wait and see. That is the things with Beta releases, they are subject to change.

Yeah I understand. I just think it should not be broken since they so confidently claimed they will use 16 threads. If it's broken doesn't give much hope at launch
But still not many games even use 8 cores. So it's still an achievement

Indeed! On my Ryzen 5 and gtx 1080 the game runs at 100fps with max settings.
