Dell U2713HM

I would like to go to 2560x1440 resolution and having been looking at the Dell U2713HM.

What is this like for gaming? Anyone got one?

Reviews that I have read say it's ok but would like to hear from people that have one.

thats my one in the middle... its great i would rather have 1 of these 1440p monitors than 3 x 1080p anyday... 3 screen gaming has never appealed to me it just makes you feel sick after a while.... i run my games off the dell and have temp monitors and facebook/emails and things open on the other screens i wouldnt change this monitor its great!!! its really REALLY well built aswell considering LED monitors are ment to be thin this thing is like brick, which means it doesnt wobble like the other 2 monitors i have when you knock the table... tbh iam going to upgrade the other 2 soon to 24" dells to match the middle one better .. i would highly recommend it, they are expensive though.. and you have to wonder if the catleap is better value for money or not....

Nice setup you have there. Thanks for the reply. Do you notice any lag or ghosting effects when gaming?

I missed it the other week when it was on offer but I expect it will be again before long. I'd rather go with the Dell over the catleap due to the excellent warranty Dell offer.

well yeh there is that... and its probably one of the best monitors on the market atm and no no ghosting or anything its pretty much perfect in everyway imo, tbh i couldnt live without it now... its great having the extra real estate 1440 gives you.. and the games look great
