Dell has officially announced their 4K 43 inch P4317Q monitor, offering a display size and resolution that is equivalent to 4 traditional 1080p screens.

May as well call it a TV!
Personally I can only see this being useful in professional uses and not for gamers. That response time and input lag for such a large screen is probably going to be pretty bad

I'm going to give a damn good try in July when the budget gets refreshed, although got to get a new Macbook Pro 15 past him as well, as at 4 years old mines beginning to struggle a little with some applications.

Very nice. Yeah more for productivity than gaming although I'm sure depending on the type of game it would probably do just fine.

Great way to clean up the desk top and for anyone that has to use spreadsheets it would be awesome.

43" is a good size tbh. Playing a widescreen movie on a 40" with the black bars top and bottom gives you the exact same viewing size as a 34" ultrawide and with my 2x24s here at work it would be close to the same width.

I would almost give up my PLP Dell U3011 set-up for this. Did anyone notice if it could do 4:4:4?
