Dell OEM Windows discs / iso's

I'm going to be fixing a pc for someone at work but it's going to be easier for me to just format the thing and reinstall windows. He doesn't have his recovery disc though.

Does anyone know a good place to find Dell windows ISO' or similar as he's got a CoA key on the side of the case.

Just use a normal OEM disc and get the drivers afterwards. That way you'll be free of all the junk Dell bundle on their installs and you can put the latest drivers on too. I'm sure the person will thank you for it!

dell oem disks accept different license keys to oem in my exp

so yeh i too need dell disk ISOs

Can't say I've ever had a problem putting Dell OEM keys into a normal OEM disc, not with XP anyway.

Does the machine have a recovery partition?

Not as far as I'm aware.

I've downloading a few versions of XP OEM software from thepiratebay now to see if any of them will do the trick. I expect they should.

Failing that I'll try some standard OEM ISO's as I don't have any of them floating around either.
