Dell 2007WFP

Its my birthday next week and I cant think of anything else to get apart from a new monitor (current is a 17" tft).

Anyway was looking round and can pickup a Dell 2007WFP for £255 locally and I think I am going to get it but thought I would ask for your opinion first.

dell are great monitors as ime sure many will agree but dont forget samsung

the 205bw 20" widescreen is around £260 online and are fantastic quality.

i own one myself as do one or two other forum members and it really is a great monitor and well for the price tis damn good value too.

and has a few nice lil features-one of them being magicbright.

The Dell 2007WFP is supposed to be great for gaming and has no ghosting and I personally prefer it over the samsung. Remember at £255 its a bargain as at most places including ocuk its around £350. Plus my parents are not paying for all of it, they are putting money towards it.

after hearing all the horror stories about ebay, i've never used it

i bought a cheapo belinea 20" widescreen monitor a couple of weeks ago, it's not bad... better than my old crappy 17" LCD

I love eBay, it's always been one of my first sources for online shopping. Never once had a buying problem except the one time I bought a pair of Xeons for the OC3D server which came very poorly packed and had all of the pins bent way out of whack, I still hate that guys friggin' guts.

It also has a 7 day return aswell so there will be no problems.

He is also a very well established ebay member so wont want to mess people around, plus he is local so if he does mess me around ....

Well I am picking it up tomorrow but my dad says I cant open it till my birthday (next friday) but I am sure I will be able to persuade him as I will just say I need to check for dead pixels etc as it only has a 7 day return

Anyway if I manage to get it out tomorrow I will get plenty pics for you all.

I might have to look into this /
