There Are Foundary problems causing delays read more here http://www.techpowerup.com/148722/Foundry-Delays-to-Push-Back-NVIDIA-Kepler-Launch-to-2012.html?cp=2 which sux, really hoped it would be this year to fit in with the new Intel and AMD CPU's

True, especially with the better scaling, just I'm not expecting these new ones to set the world alight. Good temps and power consumption, added to low noise levels would be a great indicator for the more powerful stuff though

There is talk that for BF3 the minimum spec card is to be a 550 or equivalant so some high end cards might be needed

Minimum spec 550? I doubt that they would say that card, but maybe something last gen/equivalent performance if indeed it is that demanding.Which tbh I don't think it will be, if you need a 550 minimum whaddaya need to max it lol

From what I heard and I will Try to double check on the facts was, A manager from one of our stores over here was talking to an Nvidia rep who stated that the possibility was high that you need a 550 to play battlefield 3 which makes me think they are trying to do a crysis on us or he was bullshitting to try and boost sales for higher end cards time will tell, but be that as it may i will make some calls today to see if i can get more info on it

Ok so here's what I found out its not a 550 you need but a 550TI which is a higher spec again but they would not divulge any more info than that. TBH I think it may just be a rumour mill thing to put the wind up people but time will tell i guess but if i hear anymore i will let you all know.

Maybe for reccomended, I'm sure you get guys who say you need this good card for an "ideal" gaming framerate, after all the minimum specs won't usually get you this
