Hey everyone, how u doing ?

I kind of puzzled to be honest, i would much appreciate your help atm.

I send my rig to RMA. Mobo is being rma-ed for the 3rd time now. First i had cpu-init problem on boot, second time was the fusion block all rusted inside. Now i sent everything, cpu, mobo, ram and hdd. And again with no surprise it was the striker faulty again.

***I spoke to the guy from Scan Tech Support today, and he was very helpful. He said he tested everything and motherboard kept letting it down. I personally asked him to test the new motherboard before sending it to me, as i dont have another similar system to test the parts, and that would save me in paying postage back to scan and saving them headaches with these problems. He phoned me later on saying that he tested the board with all my other parts as asked and he said that this time it should be perfect, as he didnt find any problems. Let's hope this time is for definate.

I going back home to brazil real soon, and i actually wanted to get rig of the board, really. I don't have time, neither patience to be fiddling with bios everyday. OC is quite cool, but once you have achieve your goals, that's it, i shouldn't be having to do that all time.

My idea is to actually sell mobo, cpu, ram, psu is already on sale. (Please PM for link)

I basically need a good and stable pc that is not going to have to be fiddle every now and then. I thought that i could use the money from the parts mentioned before to get 2 Zotac 9300 MINI ITX WIFI. Put a E7500 (2DUO) in each of them. On first of them i would love to have a GTX295 + 8GB DDR2 800. Now, what psu would such system need? And what 8GB kit of DDR2 800 is good and stable?

On the second board i though in keeping it with its stock gpu chipset which is quite good for a HTPC. And this sytem will only get 4GB of RAM for now, and again, what psu would this pc need since it wont get a PCI-E gpu?

**Since i will only give 4GB of ram to this HTPC wouldn't it be better to get a cheaper MINI ITX from zotac, like the Zotac nForce 630i-ITX???

I might be able to slap a good GTX280 later on on this HTPC, but that's up to dad, not me.

Can anyone help? If you think that all together this is stupid idea, please let me know: why? i am very open to hear from you guys.

*I thought in making these two mini itx because i would still have a pretty good pc with a better gpu, and i could make a nice HTPC to my dad as a present.

YES, WATERCOOLING THEM ALL THE WAY! :corn:
