Alright...
Just starting some research into building a dedicated machine learning build/server.
If our project gets funded we'll have up to $1500 to drop on this thing, so not a ton, but enough to be dangerous.
I've found some resources that I will be looking into soon. But I always get the best advice from you guys.
So far we're looking at Linux and GTX 1080 ti, but I'm not up to date on why those aren't available right now (cryptocurrency issues?)...
Also, we're looking at remote access, and this thing is gonna be running for days/weeks at a time, processing some large datasets.
A $1000 build is being discussed also.
I've only built standard gaming rigs before, so I'm not quite sure what's different e.g. CPU, Motherboard, ram, etc.
Any advice is greatly appreciated. Not asking to be spoonfed, just point me in the right direction if you know something. Thanks!
