Decisions, decisions...

Let's have a picture:

When you see this what's your first thought about what needs to be changed? What doesn't fit in there, etc.. I'm just curious what I could change to get a more stream lined setup (yes I'm considering removing the 5.25" drive cage)

I've disassembled the entire loop since the graphics card is being sent in for RMA, and I've also ordered a couple of quick disconnect fittings, so I don't have to go through this mess every time something's changing with my graphics card.

I would say red cables and blue led on the cpu clash a bit. As well as the single beige noctua fan, either go full beige or full black.

Yea, get rid of that red cable and turn the blue led off, also that Noctua fan; there great and all but the colour is arggg! If you do really want to use Noctua buy the new black and brown or plasti dip the current one (cheaper and saves a fan wasted) Also maybe look at covering the PSU logo etc. and get a really nice extension cable for the GPU such as if you was going with black and red, get the same extension cables for GPU, 24pin and 8pin and a little cable management at the top right. When the improvements have been made it will look alot bettter.

I don't have a side window, so it's not a big issue for me at this point with the color mismatch. But I'm clearly buying black Noctua fans in the future, because they're actually fantastic effective and far less noisy than expected. I'm just not quite satisfied with the 140mm radiator in the back. Don't get me wrong it's effective, but I feel it's the sole reason for this annoying routing of the tubes.

The Apogee XL water block will be exchanged for an EK Supremacy MX, due to the Apogee XL is one of the most restrictive CPU blocks available.

I'm also considering placing a big rad in the top, just haven't decided for which one. There is room for a 420mm, yet the fans I need to buy will be more expensive combined than the radiator itself. I kinda feel conflicted about this for some reason lol.

There's a Swiftech H240-X located in the front which in itself is a 280x30mm rad, and then the Alphacool XT45 140mm in the back.

Ah yes I see it now. It was like an optical illusion where I couldn't quite make out what I was seeing until I was told what it was. /backtobed

I'm also considering separating the loop using the Swiftech MCR140-X. It does mean I'll have two pumps in my PC, but they can operate at lowest RPM without sacrificing temperatures. They're quite faint at this level. It would actually be the cheaper option, if I could just find someone in the UK selling it. Currently I can only find Highflow.nl, but they're just too expensive in general, same with their postage cost.
