Decisions decisions

Most of them seem legit.. i mean a 970 just went for £450 inc. shipping from the US lol.. but I dunno yet..

I want a dual tuner so i can watch and record.. Your seriously telling me that dongle has dual tuners in it? lol.. as for the wireless I've only had bad experiences with them =/.. Maybe they have been upgraded now though.. But as I said hopefully i can talk my step-dad into allowing CAT-5 cables going through the house

One of them definitely has dual tuners and aerial sockets yes. Not sure if those are the ones, but yes, they definitely do a model with dual tuners.

What are they? lol

One of them plugs into your modem/router/rodem. Then you plug it into the wall. At which point you plug the other one in anywhere else in the house on the same power loop and plug a network cable into it, then into the LAN port on the back of your motherboard.

They send the network signals through the power lines. Very very clever and very good by all accounts

What Alien said, there are many makers of them, Belkin etc but Devolo are meant to be the best and as mentioned I can testify for them, the other plus point is you can buy extra adaptors if needed to run multiple bits of kit. I think there is even a 1gb version now as well.

BTW one last thing dude.. Make sure to read the manual if you get that board. I think the last two slots are 4x only so put it in one of those. Saves wasting a 16x slot on a 1x device

Ye I always check in the manual just in case theres something I don't fully understand.. And also i'll need to make space for an extra 580 if I get 2

Thanks for all your help mate =]

List updated completely =]

One thing you will need is an extra 8 pin cable. The MSI requires two. Now some PSUs have this natively (oddly my OCZ does) but the Corsair HX 850 does not (my friend with the same board has one). There are two ways of rectifying that. One is to buy a splitter and the other is to go to Corsair's forum and ask for one and Ramguy will send you one in the post

Oh and due to the magnitude of PCIE lanes there is also a 6 pin power socket just above the PCIE lanes (black socket). So, you will need a nice long extender for that too

Yeah I did notice that when you pointed the mobo out to me.. And the NZXT Hale90 has plenty of cables

.. When I get paid on the 31st I will be getting the SSD, PSU and NH-D14 =]

Sorry guys I just realized there is a separate section for new builds lol.. I'm assuming that this area is for modding logs?

Mods can you move it if needed =]
