Dead psu??? HELP PLZ

650 Watts would be enough but yeah, if you're going for an RM750 you'll be sure to have plenty headroom and the unit should last you through a couple of builds/ upgrades. As a bonus the fan on it will probably never even need to spin.

If it just dies it definitely sounds like a power issue. Even if it's not the PSU it's probably the motherboard/CPU which you are both replacing anyway, so I'd be looking at the PSU for as the problem.

Also considering the hardware you're running on it, I'd swap out your current unit anyway, even without defects. 7 years is quite old for a PSU and I must admit I've personally never heard of the brand, but I couldn't find a lot about them on Google either which is always a bit dodgy to me.
Thank you so much for your time bro!i apretiate it!

Well guys i got a new psu yesterday i jnstalled it in my system but the problem is still there.and today when i tryed again the system wont boot at all.there is no power not even the fans start spining.so R.I.P. motherboard?

Reading your original post it was pretty obvious it WASNT the psu tbh.....

Id get an old HDD and install windows on to it if I were you to start the fault find process.

So your rig is as per your signature?

Ye except for the gpu and the psu.i have the msi 970 gaming and rm750 by corsair

I'm with Tom here. It definitely didn't sound like the PSU. This sounded more to me like a motherboard failing. I've had a couple of boards start doing this to me as the fets started to fail. What does surprise me a little though is your CPU. It's obviously not overclocked, is it? unless of course you increased the bus.. Mind you, even with the pitiful bus you could get that shouldn't put any strain on the power phases really.

The first thing to check in these circumstances is the CPU socket. Check for any bent pins. If you can't find any damage in the CPU socket check for shorts. IE - a motherboard post where it shouldn't be etc. Try and remove the motherboard and fire the rig up out of the case on a table or something.

If that all fails then I suspect you may need a new motherboard.

Before you fit a motherboard into a case you need to fit the posts. They are hex shaped little posts that screw into the case itself. Now they are usually in the right places just for you to put the board straight in but some case companies include extra ones in case you are fitting a larger or wider motherboard.

And in some instances people leave one in there that shouldn't be there and it will press against the solder points on the back of the motherboard, potentially causing a short at first and damage in the long term.

The stock paste will be fine yes.
i just finished the setup of the hardware everything seems to work normal.now i need to format and make a clean instalation of windows right?is it normal that when i switch off the system the motherboard lights stay on?the start buton the reset button the ROG logo and the led line around the sound area?

Well same thing again.i shut it down and when i tried to turn the rig buck on it failed.id just shut down

Finaly!!!!i found the solution.the problem was the firmware of the ssd!its all done now guys.thanks everybody for the help

Its 215 euros at 480 GB its cool is it better from the evo 850?

They do make other sizes like ADATA XPG SX930 240GB

Warranty there both 5 years the only thing is spec wise the ADATA is a little bit slower on the write.

I have heard good things about the ADATA SSD's
