Im going to buy a w/c setup and this is on phils sale so is the TDX a good block to buy will it give good enough performance, btw which is hte better block the TDX or the RBX, i woulda have thought the RBX but the TDX is the newer one so i was confused, im gonna use a 120.3 rad and a fishtank for a resevoir.

Both blocks are comparable - the obvious benefit to the TDX is two barbs (1 inlet, 1 outlet = less tubing) whereas the RBX has three. The RBX has the added bonus of two outlets so in thoery it deals with more water - to add, the LRWW is a superb block too. (also in the sale)

Edited for mistakes :)

Tut, tut Phil :p

1 inlet, 2 outlets...

Oh, the TDX is 0.5*C worse than the RBX, but IMO 2 barbs are MUCH easier, so go with the TDX of the 2...

Lol!! Sorry thats what I meant - 1 inlet (middle) surrounded by two outlets.

I got the block the otherday, speedy dlivery, the box is a bit tatty but thts probabbly cos i was tight and had it sent via royal mail :P Anywayi went to the dangerden homepage and got some instructions on how to fit it, and as far as i can tell the rubber washers are all meant to be the same size whereas i have 12 of one variety and 4 of another variety now following the instructions proved i dont see the mounting springs working aswell with these different washers, should i contact DD see if i can get some more, buy a kit of spares parts for it, or jsut bodge it?

Oh btw its a great piece of engineering, felt of a much higher quality than most heatsinks in the same price range.
