Hopefully GOG will continue to grow and be a positive influence on the gaming community.

They are the only service where I know that all their games will actually work.

They should rebrand themselves as "Gamers Own Games", as they are the only service where gamers can actually keep playing their games if GOG goes under.

God yes, that was so horrifyingly difficult mate... as I need to open a new tab, type in 6 letters and then hit enter... then I need to write in those 8 letters and hit enter, then scroll to see which is most suited for the meaning of the words... so yes, it was that difficult

I think by legal right that should be the case for any digital service. You bought and own the game.. just because someone who has nothing to do with that games goes down you shouldn't have to lose what you paid for.

Indeed, but with today's laws and how the games industry works this is simply not the case right now.

Today if steam went under we all would have lost the majority of our collective games libraries. Right now GOG is the only service which will allow that, provided we never delete the games.
