Right been a while guys but back to play a little with my 4670K .Been trying to get my cpu to stock i.e the lowest voltage it can boot up with into OS and stay . Been dropping the voltage in incrememnts of .5 eg 1.050>1.025 and so on also dropping ring ratio at .5 less than cpu ratio so if cpu sits at 1.025 then ring ratio ive set is 1.000 . Now my question is am I doing this right to get this cpu at stock as i still think it will drop down even further possibly down to 0.075 thus ring ratio 0.050 what im worried about if this gets too low and it wont boot will it be retrievable through just reset in bios or clear cmos as well as that i am correctly getting down before i start going up in mhz and voltage. I havent changed the memory profile so it isnt on XMP and only changed the necessary to drop these two steps any advice or concerns would be great as I think I nearly fried the cpu the other day by not getting the voltage low enough before going up. All help appreciated cheers
