D5 speed with Phobya 1080?

No no no.....

That is ugly...and im being generous there.
I dont even know where to begin......

Reroute the tubing in a single flow path, reduce the tubing lengths...less tube=more flow. Turn up the pump from 1 to 3 or 4,get a CPU block......i could go on

  1. Get new chassis
  2. Clean up cables
  3. Re-do all tubing
  4. Get a CPU block
  5. Sleeve fan cables

Also, is that TWO 360 rads for just those two GPU's?! Both those radiators would be able to efficiently cool FAR more then those two GPU's, A 1080 rad would be massively pointless for that system anyway...If you are going to externally mount a rad, mount it properly and securely! Also, I don't see how you are effectively cooling the cards with the pump at level 1, I have mine at 5 (maximum) and it's still quiet while seriously improving the temperatures. Also, I have never seen someone watercool just the GPU's without the CPU because the CPU runs far hotter on air then GPU's do, especially newer GPU's.

Have some respect for your system mate!

Speaking of D5s on low settings. Do you guys have a preferred make of pump?
I come across like four different brands on D5s.
Does that ever matter? I can get alphacool way cheaper than an actual Laing.

They are all the same pump, just different stickers...

True, there is a non speed variable D5, it does not have the red speed dot on the back, but I don't know if anyone even sells those.

the Alphacool is it the version without a top?
Then you need to buy custom top for it.
single edition

top with reservoire

I have both the Koolance PMP450 Vario, and the Swiftech MCP655B with an EK X-Top and both are great. Multiple companies make the D5 in both variable and non-variable speed versions of the pump.
