Long story short, this build was originally going to be the one in my sig. A fully custom job with internal/external powdercoating, custom laser cut side panel, watercooled crossfire graphics and a SB750 motherboard hopefully helping me overclock my long idle Phenom 9950....

BUT!

I've been having an absolute nightmare with work recently (more specifically, getting paid for the work), and now have found out i'm potentially completely out of work. This means the project, for now, has to be scaled down some.

The powdercoating is taking a backseat, the dreams of crossfire graphics is going out the window and i'm gonna have to pull some old hardware out of retirement (the 512MB GTS and 790FX DFI mobo). I will still be getting the side panel done though, cant let all that watercooling goodness be hidden away can we.

Anyways, the last couple of watercooling bits should be here tomorrow and I only need to do a few cuts in the mobo tray and then I can have a functioning AMD rig again. PICTURES!

The front of the case (slightly blurry, d'oh):

Inside shots. The rad is a very tight fit, with no more than 2-3mm between it and the PCI slots and around 4-5mm at the front of the case:

The WCUK grill is there for photo posing purposes only btw.

Anyways, more pictures tomorrow when I start leak testing. :)

UPDATES!!!

She's leak testing, i'll let the pictures do the talking for the most part but 1 thing I will say (much to my surprise) is that cable management was the easiest of any case i've ever had, I did have to cut a great big hole in the PSU area to route them behind the drives and mobo tray but after that very simple mod i've literally, for the first time ever, been able to build a truly clean machine. :D

All done now. All cables in, booted into windows first time no headaches.... just need to buy another keyboard to use it. >.<

Proper picture time!!!

Cleanest build I've ever done I think.:D

Looks smart mate, loving the green, think I might go for green next time my casefans need swapping out, makes a change from typical blue :)

Looks very slick D-Cyph3r and the absence of worm drive clips keeps it looking very clean. I'm a sucker for green too :yumyum: Well done and congrats on such a sexy rig

Cheers guys, it definitely came out better than I thought it would.

The only problems I have with are the fact that it's got Vista 64bit installed and it feels slow as heck compared to my XP/Intel rig and I cant, for love nor money, get rid of that vortex in GPU->T-Piece tube. I've practically had the case upside trying to shake any bubbles left in the rad and I cant leave the cap off the fillport while it;s running cus it just sucks in more air. :S

Don't know whether this would help much or whether it's safe to do so but try putting a few tea-spoonfulls of oil into the loop.

I notice you have the spiralling air bubbles leaving your GPU like I had. Mine only appeared due to the flow being split but it does settle down but if you want to speed that along then you try what I did and put a cable tie on it (the wrong way so it does lock) this makes the flow faster through that part (bernoullis principle anyone :) ) and this disperses the bubbles more letting them stay in the res more. No need to do it tightly just a little pressure is enough.

Lovely case.
