CSS Update = Noob Game

Hey there it seems that Valve had the nice idea to make CSS a little more noob friendly (to let more ppl buy it... but ok). They changed the Weapon's shooting behavior. Now the old Controlled firebursts are almost worth nothing and the Time of Spraying noobs has come. Just try it yourself. Press the button down and dont let it go... if you want to you can even run. What you will get is a HS or at least a kill. The Controlled firebursts are now as unaccurate as the Sprays were before the Update.

I will try to figure out a new shooting technic but I can say that this is bullshit. Why do they have to change it ? (They are changing the behavior almost every 3rd Month)

And on certain servers they don't know about hitboxes so if someone is running by you shoot a little ahead of them and you will kill them--by shooting their hitbox .

i thought hitboxes were only fuzzled for bots, obviously not.

i was wondering why i was sucking basly the last copule of days (my excuse) i will try spraying.

when you get the game and play CS:S for ur first time, you should have to pass like training and such b4 u start playing.....that would be good...

that is a good idea, and like get awarded medal and such, like in BF:2....

hehe problem with that CSS IDea ? Lame Pro'S (and there are alot) would joiN noob Servers all the time jut to win.

As long as the server you're playing on has a high tickrate the hitboxes will stay where they should. The Valve default is '33', my server is set on '100' and the hitboxes are fine

I agree with Dave on this one. It would be nice to go onto a server and play middling people. I am by no means the best ever but I aint the worse either. Ah well...I'll take a look at the new style but methinks I'm not gonna like it.

On another note I played BF-2 proplerley the other day and really enjoyed it a lot. Damn that game is good. Had to put it on 1024 x 768 @ 2x AA but it was fecking great
