Crytek To Demonstrate Crysis Game Engine At GDC

In a bid to win over professional developers and modders, Crytek are now offering public demonstrations of their upcoming Crysis game. Details in the news article

In all honesty, Crytek need to get this game in homes before another software house comes up with something equally as impressive.

It`s one thing to hone the skills, and I think we`ve all seen some very impressive video footage, but the footage is getting on a bit prehaps. From what I`ve seen of the game engine running, it *looked* pretty complete - now I know that`s easy to say from a video-watcher`s pov - but as it looked, it would have appeared that it was a scenario design, and maybe some video, short of release.

Dx10 dependant prehaps ? What a game to bundle with Dx10 cards.

Wasn`t Farcry bundled at one point ?

A good idea for Crytech. Can't wait to get my hands on the game. Farcry looked great and this should be even better

It'll be DX9c compatible afaik, but the good extra stuff will be on DX10

After i got new video cards Farcrys water screwed up on me Not to happy with the game right now.

This is one of the games I am looking forward to getting. A rarity as I normal stick with one game for ages. but I will defo get this one.
