Hi guys, so i kinda sorta finished my system today, just something basic to get me through the next couple of months, so i tested everything this morning on my and it booted into the bios screen just fine.

i set up my watercooling shiz and leak tested and bled the loop for around 8 hours.

i got everything ready and booted up, i forgot to clear the CMOS from when Rawz used it so it booted into 4.8Ghz so i factory restored the bios, i then started a little overclocking on my own and whilst i was bumping up the RAM volts to 1.5 it froze. i restarted it and got the cpu led, i took out all of the ram beside one stick which i placed in B2 slot and i got the cpu led, i cleared the CMOS and got the cpu led... beside stripping the loop i dont know what else i can do.

everything including the gpu spins up, i tried plugging in some old coolermaster fans into the cpu fan header.

but any suggestions?

btw could it possibly be a cable loose in the alchemy extensions

thanks for any help guys

i just disconnected the HDD and SSD and it booted but froze at the bios again and now it wont work again

Seems a bit strange.. Did you try and take out the battery on the MB also? The gpu are suposed to ramp up the fans under boot up but it should go down in rpm after a while. Atleast my gpu fans go up under start up, but they settle after a while. It sounds like the pc hangs up under start up or something. Im sorry i cant do more to help you m8. It can be a pain when you dont know what the issue is.

I'm sorry to say this but I think it's your MB, because I had the exact same issue (I was also messing around with the RAM when it happened)

I changed it and now it works

Well its booting now but freezes at bios

Is it a button reset on the bios or a jumper reset? BTW what CPU light is coming on, one on the mainboard or one on the case? Do you have a MB manual to figure out what the light means?

I have a couple of lights on the MB that indicate voltage state and temp. And one last thing is the CPU posting on boot?

**EDIT**

Ok so I grabed a copy of the manual, you're talking about the Q LED. Did you try pressing the "GO" button before the processor posted assuming it did post?
