crossfire question

can i run a 6870 and a 6850 in crossfire?

if there like the 4xxx and 5xxx cards then yes you can, but you wont get any extra performance over 2x 6850's

In my experience crossfire isnt worth it...seems to be issues with games I play that dont support it possibly? more hassel than its worth, having to turn it on and off(id rather a rig just worked with no tinkering, many people are diff tho). Save the moeny and put it towards an 'upgrade fund' for when the next best thing comes out imo

Save your pennies and get another 6870 instead of a 6850

if you are going to crossfire then I agree, but the same card, it just makes sense and gets you the most out of your system at the end of the day.
