I don't see why it's a big deal. Outside of this particular issue the game has been pretty well received. It really just means they spent more time on optimizing for AMD and Nvidia, which is good. All those reddit posts must have really got to them.

When the game runs on Mac and even the ROG Xbox Ally (non-X, which basically uses Steam Deck Silicon), it is strange that it can't run on ARC. There are many newer Intel laptops with decent integrated graphics.

It's not really that they spend more time on AMD and Nvidia. They didn't even get it working on Intel, even though Intel offered support several times over several years. While Intel is small in the discrete GPU market, there are plenty of gaming-capable laptops out there with solid Intel iGPUs. That's especially true for Lunar Lake and Panther Lake laptops, and even Meteor Lake has decent integrated graphics.

TBH, there is a lot of damage control from Pearl Abyss ATM. With AI art appearing in the game and the Intel backlash. The sooner they fix that, the better it is for them.
