I concur! I've had enough of Creative products and I refuse to buy them, unless they function without software (like my speakers).

Would have been cool if they had actually fitted a reasonable USB sound card into the keyboard with headphone/mic for non USB headsets though.

You know what. That would be a smart idea. Considering they have USB sounds cards. It could be connected by passthrough and embedded in the head of the keyboard.

LOL, yeah a smart idea in 2003. The quality of such a sound card would be bettered by what most motherboards offer on-board now, but only add to the cost of an already expensive product.
